One of our early notable projects was our work for the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) back in 2015. We were brought in by HeiTech Padu Berhad to design and build infrastructure for a Tier 3 Data Center for MCMC, working alongside several other partners like Originex Group, TEE M&E, and Ikhasas Group.
There were several challenges to the project when we undertook it. We faced severe time constraints, which led to the initial contractor withdrawing from the project. Additionally, we had to address labor shortages, and work without interrupting MCMC’s ongoing operations.
Despite the challenges, we rose to the occasion with effective solutions for the client. Firstly, we provided them with additional labor resources to ease the process. We then equipped the infrastructure with structured copper and fiber cabling, cable and server containment system, as well as racks and power distribution systems, making the data center cohesive and functional.
As a result, our efforts allowed us to efficiently complete the project on time, meeting all the
operational standards laid out for us.
Valued at RM 1,387,000.00, our accomplishment throughout the transition minimized the downtime and ensured higher availability for MCMC to carry out their operations. This project highlighted our ability to overcome challenges and deliver high-quality and timely infrastructure solutions.
